Dance/Performance
Alexis “Lexi” Chilton began her academic studies at Christ Our King-Stella Maris School, where she graduated from 8th grade with a 3.8 GPA.
While continuing her dance training, she is currently attending Charleston County School of the Arts as a dance major and maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Beginning dance at the age of two, Alexis has continued her training throughout her life. She trains in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and tap.
She has recently participated in Inspire, Inferno, and Open Call dance competitions. She has also performed extensively with her school and dance studio, including winter showcases, departmental performances, and recitals. In addition to her dance work, Alexis spent three years as part of a musical theater troupe, where she performed in various ensemble, supporting, and lead roles.
Service
Lexi is passionate about animals and is a very active volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society, where she completed a teen leadership program and has since transitioned into an adult volunteer role at the shelter.
